Terms of Service

RankThis.now is a tool for crowd-ranking lists of things. By using it, you agree to the rules below. They are intentionally short.

1. What this site is

RankThis.now lets you create a ranking with a list of options, share the link, and have other people vote them into order. It is for ranking stuff — pizzas, app names, movies, logos, dinner spots. Nothing on this site is professional advice.

2. What you can't rank

Do not create rankings, options, or votes that:

• Target specific private individuals (classmates, coworkers, exes, strangers)
• Rank people's bodies, faces, race, gender, or any protected trait
• Contain slurs, hate speech, harassment, or threats
• Are sexually explicit or sexually involve minors in any way
• Dox, impersonate, or identify a real person without consent
• Are illegal where you live or where this service is hosted
• Are spam, scams, advertising, or promotional links
• Attempt to disrupt, attack, or scrape the service

3. We reserve the right to remove anything

We reserve the right to remove any ranking, option, or vote at our sole discretion, with or without notice, and with or without a stated reason. This includes content that violates Section 2, content that we judge to be off-spirit even if it slips past automated checks, and content that we just don't want hosted here. There is no appeal process and no obligation on our part to host anything you submit.

4. Your content, your responsibility

You are responsible for what you submit. By submitting, you confirm that you have the right to share it, that it doesn't violate anyone else's rights, and that you're OK with it appearing publicly on RankThis.now alongside votes and comments from strangers.

You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, store, and distribute your submission as needed to operate the site. You can withdraw this license by asking us to remove your content (see Privacy Policy, "Removal").

5. Automatically suggested content

When you create a ranking, the site can suggest options automatically. Those suggestions are not the views of any real person — including the operators of RankThis.now. Treat them as starting points, not endorsements.

6. No warranty, no liability

RankThis.now is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties about uptime, accuracy, fitness for any purpose, or anything else. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.

7. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continuing to use RankThis.now after a change means you accept the new terms.
